i don't know if you want a co-op or not but, if you make an account on steam https://store.steampowered.com/login/ you can download Team Fortress 2 for free. Also known as TF2 it requires a subtle amount of teamwork and participation and is really fun with a group of friends or alone. although if rather than an fps you wanted an MMO i reccomend playing Dragonsnest. Dragonsnest offers a unique play style to the mmo world that alone and with friends can be enjoyable.

How can an RTS fan forget Total War? Shogun 2 has some pretty fun multiplayer
