The Best Artifacts i think are the butterflt lamps. There are 2 in the game. The 1st one is in the basments with the bugs, and the 2nd one is on the side of the room where the bug nest is. To get maximum value, you need to colect 3 colored eyes, red, green, and blue. They can be found by killing bugs and each have a different drop rate, Green being the highest, and blue being the lowest. There also a way to get a full set without killing bugs too. When you pick up the 2nd butterfly lamp, there is a opening in the wall where you can see the bug nest. Shoot it about 30 times with a handgun and it will fall to the ground, leaving around 10 eyes on the ground. There will always be 1 of each color.

To get the Chicago Typewriter you must first beat the game, then on the Gamcube version you must beat the "Assignment Ada" side-mission, For Wii and PS2 you must finsh the "Seperate Ways" side mission.
There are 3 different costumes for Leon and Ashley. The first is the default costume, the 2nd is the RPD uniform for Leon and a pop star outfit for Ashley which are unlocked when you beat the game.The 3rd set is the Gangster outfit for Leon and the Knight armor for Ashley and are unlocked by beating the "Seperate Ways" side-mission, the 3rd set is only avalible in the PS2 and Wii version.
