I was sifting through all the games here on ArmorGames, to see whether there were any I still hadn't rated yet and while I was doing this I noticed a weird problem that doesn't add up and has me puzzled for some time now... (O.o)
I reached the conclusion that I had rated #2366 games in total (this used to be #2368, but it dropped somehow), opposing to the number of games there actually are on the website, which is according to the add up of all games from all catagories, a total number of #2353 games... This doesn't pan out here! This should be equal in my opinion, set aside one or two games that might slip through the crack and get missed during a total count, but still... ...and I know of at least one other user who saw that problem rise too and he even has an amount of #2414 games rated!!! Go figure the confusion here... =/

The probable explanaition for this has several factors I believe (so far)... there could be a number of games that have been deleted over time, but people who rated them keep the rate-count for it... AND there's a glitch in the rate count (but that would be TOO easy!)... AND some ratings never stuck and when they are fixed eventually, the rate-count isn't added with +1, but with a higher amount, making the total rate count higher than it should be/actually is! =)
I don't know whether I'm on the right track, whether I'm seeing ghosts or whether it's not important at all, since the new AG v3.0 is coming soon, but still...
...it's a puzzle I can't solve right now... who can?! =D
Moderators can remove your ratings on a game but this rarely happens. Some games have got deleted as well and your rating could have stuck with it or have been removed as well as the game. I am sure it is not much of a big issue considering that the new AGv3 is coming out soon.
