Think about this, all you would be doing is setting up towers and watching them work.
... Okay, guess I'll just tear down your games then.
Batman
Pressing two or three different buttons repetitively with guidance from your analog stick? Sounds fun.
CoD
Playing an imbalanced and shallow shooter using both analog sticks and the trigger, with little aim required? Sounds fun.
Assassins Creed
Consistently doing a very similar pattern of objectives in order to kill various fictional enemies with very little relation? Sounds fun.
Tower Defense Games provide wide opportunity for theorycraft, strategic decision making (that which you do not seem to understand, especially looking at the games you decide to "stick with"
and pretty colours, and have been incorporated with other genres to boost the "sit back" aspect of the game, to the point where the skill involved is more than trial and error-proven mixtures of awesomesauce tower combos, and moreso than the game Call of Duty especially.
Don't get me wrong -- Batman and Assassin's Creed have very nice storylines, and it's also what is a large driving force for each of them, but hey, you turned a negative spin with no constructive benefit to the thread, I guess I'll do the same.
Except I'll do what I can.
Savage Moon may be a good game, apparently it's a Tower Defense game in protection against bugs. Marvellous I guess, where I could imagine it being Starship Troopers style or Terran vs Zerg in Starcraft.
PixelJunk Monsters has a pretty nice graphical theme, if very basic (and thus understandable). It also has an expansion as well which includes levels inspired by classic games Space Invaders and Pac-man. I'm not sure of any specific points of this game, however it could be quite nice.
Whilst I don't care for arbitrary numbers being tagged on a game for a rating, it hasn't received less than an 7.5 from the ratings mentioned in Wikipedia. 7.5 from GameSpot.
8.5 from IGN.
IGN also rated its PSP version a 9.5.
GameSpot also rated the PSP version with an 8.0.
And it holds an 86 of 100 score on Metacritic.
Hope those two help. I do not take responsibility for any money spent on the buying of these games.
