Oh YEAH! Van Halen is finally back! It's been a real long time (too long) since we last heard of them and even though they toured the States already, it's finally time for them to conquer the world once more with a new album coming! *goodie-goodie-goodie*

Yah. Heard a few songs from it already on the local radio. Kind of blegh TBH. Not at all what I was expecting from them.

I heard Tattoo on the radio about a week ago, and as Walker said, it wasn't what I was expecting from them. It seemed rather weird to me for a Van Halen song, especially the chorus. I can't say for sure if I actually want this album until I hear other songs, though.

I know... I know... it's not the Van Halen from waybackwhen... but again, it's not a hideous song either! It probably needs some time to 'grow on you' I bet... wait till you heard it a few times more and maybe a live version of it? =)

And I knew your attention would be drawn to this thread here MRWalker82...

Come on you guys! There's WAY more to talk about on the topic of Van Halen making a comeback in original formation with David Lee Roth!!
Ok... granted... Michael Anthony is no longer part of the team, but -allthough I personally regret this- it's not a dealbreaker to still like them! =D

I have now heard more songs from the album. It sounds almost exactly like the Van Halen of old with the exception of tattoo. I already got it pre ordered.

And I have the album now. I must say that beside the abomination that is 'tattoo', it seems the Van Halen we all now and love is back! This is pretty epic, with some songs sounding a bit like their songs of old, such as 'stay frosty' sounding like 'ice cream man'. Overall, its a pretty good album.
