We all know nowadays, artists are ending their 15 minutes of fame. Who do you think is ended, and who do you think is ended?

Kesha. She's been gone for a long while and is pretty much forgotten.

Although I haven't heard from the Beatles lately...


But the Beatles are still loved and worshiped by us hipsters. They lasted 10 years, and their songs last forever.

Nowadays, artists last a few months, and are forgotten in a year.

Perhaps, but i have a whole album of every song which was offically written and performed by The Beatles and how to play them on guitar. Big book...

I don't think that Gym Class Heroes have done anything recently. They have done 'Sterio Hearts' which used to be my favorite song but now i never hear any music from them.

Except for the good bands. Like Anathallo. Or Coldplay. Or Sigur Ros. Or Givers. And so on and so forth.


I havn't heard of any of them apart from Coldplay. I probably know their songs but that doesn't mean i know them as a group or an artist.

Wait, do bands count too, or just artists?


Bands should count considering the title has nothing to do with individuals...

That's... Crazy.

I don't get people's posts.

Eminem? He's been famous for years and years. 15 minutes of fame is about someone who gets a spot in the limelight for a little while and then they disappear. Now considering some people are famous their whole lives, only being famous for a maybe...two or three years, that counts as 15 minutes.

Example: That kid from Home Alone

Eminem has been relevant for more than a decade...

Eminem is taking a break and working with D12, the "group", for a bit. Just writing and lending vocals. Weezy just released Carter IV, so he isn't gone, just writing for his next release.

Tyler the Creator, Kesha, that girl who accused JB, Hermain Cain, Charlie Sheen, all the Housewives, and the Jersy Shore dorks. That's all I can think of.

But we all understand that singers or groups that haven't been around for a bit are probably just taking a break or writing new stuff right?
