i see a lot of people that had placed some videos on their site and i want to do that also because i'm going snowboard the next vakation in holland ( snowboarding in austria ) but i will film some stunts and post them on my site ( profile) and my question is how you can place videos on your profile ( site )
This is quite complicated. You need to create on a site called YouTube (which is the most obvious one) like i have also done, and then upload your video onto that. You can then copy and paste the url adress of your video and place it on your Armor Games profile. Hopefully you will be able to work it out when you get back from your snowboarding trip. I hope you have a great time there.
i know what youtube is so you must pick the videos you placed on youtube to your profile ( the link from the youtube site from the video) ? i hope it 2 that i have a great time there but thanks for commenting me lucas da legend and daleks
There's a bit of a problem here... 'technically' it's not allowed to have links in your profile's about directing to other websites than ArmorGames.com, according to the website rules.
They may sometimes overlook this because it might have some value in terms of gaming purpose or be related to the AG website, but if you want to go through and post them... follow the advice given by the others and you'll be fine, just remember... *you never heard this from me!* LOL =P
I think it should be fine, lots of users have YouTube links on their wall and I think Walker did once. Either that or my stalking skills are so G that I somehow found his Youtube profile.

You cannot have links on your profile that you will gain something from. That is, referral links, links to your pets that needs clicks, so forth. That is advertising, because you want people to click on the links, so that you gain something from it. Having a link to your youtube channel would not trigger the same warning to remove it, because there is no real gain from it, and as long as there is no "Click this!!" kind of title on it, it should work alright. Whether the videos are about games or Hello Kitty is irrelevant.
If it wasn't allowed to post links to other sites than AG, a few of our mods would have to banned as well. So: Advertising is a no-no, linking for fun (as long as it isn't a gurram rick-roll) is a-okay.
Well... I have to disagree a bit there Cenere. Not so long ago, there was a discussion ongoing about several mods warning for users having these links on their profiles and it was said that this wasn't allowed. Later on the discussion silently died and I haven't heard anything about it since... but I know that discussion WAS there!
So... to cut a long story short... it's allowed to have links on your profile, as long as they are in no way (related or linked to) websites containing or consisting only of advertising then? Good!
That's cleared then... *wipes dust of hands* ...voila! =)
We had to have people remove a bunch of referral links. As far as I know, that is pretty much as far as it goes. At least to my knowledge. There might have been a discussion on what referral links included, since there is an intention of getting people to look at your videos or your art or what not, but as long as a link is not constructed to lure people into clicking it, the link is not malicious, connected to advertising, referrals or any other way where you might gain, directly or indirectly by someone clicking the link.... It should be allowed.
But what do I know, I am out of here in a few days.
Or, we could just go by the usual methods: Assume anything not stated to be against the rules is alright. If you are asked to remove it, you do so. If you are not asked to remove it, continue to assume it is alright.

Ok... is THIS the Cenere I used to know, always stating that 'the user is wrong, period'?!
Or is this merely because...
But what do I know, I am out of here in a few days.
LOL
I remembered that a part of that discussion was about those 'mind-distortion' and 'raise a dragon' links in users' profiles and those are of the 'click me please' kind... got it!
