What was going through your mind when you heard his announcement about him running for president but only in South Carolina. I thought he stood a better chance then Huntsman but I doubt that he could have won the debate.
Haha that was funny. But he's a comedian, he was just making a joke. As for his polling -- That's pretty awesome. As for 'winning the debate' -- It'd not make much sense. His character, Stephen Colbert, is a conservative so for all we know he woulda done a pretty good job. As for debating, I think we probably wouldn't have done so great since he isn't really preparing for a presidency -- but at least he wouldn't have to go around questions in order to preserve his reputation among certain groups of people.
What do you think about Colbert running for president in S.Carolina?
i think we should keep this president stuff in 1 topic (maybe 2 since there are only 2 party's) and not 10 topics. i c this forum getting flooded whit president topics already this year =/

I thought it was awesome when I heard about it, but I don't know if he really is or isn't running. but if he is, why else would stewart take over his super pac, and then post ads about voting for "herman cain"?
