wow i feel stupid. i thought about it so much used pitagoras and then i realized im over thinking it.

since AB and AC are equal that makes their bottom angles equal too.

so angle ABC= angle ACB

lets call both of them Ã

now since triangle DEB has a 90 degree angle we can say that angle E=90-Ã

now since triangle BFC also has a 90 degree angle we do the same thing and we can saz that angle FBC=90-Ã

we just proved that angle E and angle FBC are euqal. and that means that BF and EF are equal which make the triangle isosceles

Well, just outright telling you the answer wouldn't exactly make me the poster child of academic honesty, would it? But here are some pretty big hints:

Triangle ABC is an isosceles.
What does that say about angles ABC and ACB?

How can you define angles E and FBC in terms of ABC and ACB, respectively?

That should help.

I was going to just tell you the answer outright until I saw aknerd's response so another hint anyone?

Don't try to find exact measurements for any angles
