i can pretty much add friends once i find the link, but how do i search them? the help section only tells how to add, not search

well...click here and I think this would help you. Make sure you spell the user name right

You find friends here the way you do in real life, talk to people, find common interests, yada yada. Sooner or later, you'll get a bunch of friends.
