1st: What class is better? I always choose the assassin one.
2nd but not least: Do you already know the cheat where you grab an item, then choose options and place it there while increasing stats depending on what the item stats are?
I definitely think Destroyer is the best class as I'm pretty sure in Sonny the classes are the difficulties and with Destroyer you have high damage and high health as well as usage of the best moves with your high strength. (coup de Grace)

I think the guardian is the strongest class. Has the most health, albeit not the strongest attacks. His electro bolt is great, though. With enough regeneration, a guardian can face the additional bosses alone. I spend all the free points in speed, though, because he's so slow. Typically, I go for magic equipment, so that I don't have to spend a point in the physical tree.

In fact, Assassin can do 800-900 damages with Coup de Grace in zone 3 ! But Destroyer is about 600-800 due to low speed and lower Physical Piercing ! And the Master Strike, you know, is based on Speed ! With high speed, you can do nearly as high damage as Coup de Grace ! You can upgrade his strength later in zone 4 ! I love Assassin, he seldom miss any strike like Destroyer and Guardian ! Although it's a bit difficult to defeat Baron !

The thing is though, Assassins have to use the moves of the strength tree because there is no pure speed tree like there is for strength and magic. This means they are worse in the first parts of play because they don't have master strike or coup de grace. Once you get to Zone 4 as a Destroyer, Smash becomes a better move than Coup de Grace, as Coup de Grace has more of a damage bonus than actual scale with strength. I am able to hit about 1000-1200 with smash.
Sure JoergL, in the early levels pure damage is the only thing to get excited about, the only time you need this is in the zone 4 boss ignition. Don't take this the wrong way though, the dispelling power of the electro-bolt is the greatest in the game (next to heroic motivation). The odds reduced-benefits(for the enemy) vs. increased damage(for yourself) are equal. It's up to you to mess your opponent's day or make your day.
