I'm one of those people who love rickrolling themselves. One day, I could just be sitting in front of the computer and just look up the video on Youtube. I actually like the song.
They are of a pure commercial sort, but are awesome nontheless! That's unfortunate for Rick, who gets haunted by haters for it, but the man has a golden voice! There! HA! =)
ikr. NGGYU topped the charts worldwide for weeks. The only reason it's disliked is because it's used as a fake-out for whatever vid they were hoping to see.
Well, actually... I know they (people) dislike the song merely because it's a "Stock, Aitken & Waterman" production and that it is considered a bit of a 'gay' song by people as well, not just the RickRolling and stuff... I actually liked a RickRoll that was made of KISS! That made me LOL! =)
Sounds nice cjhall! Are there any videos of that performance?! That would fit the thread's topic perfectly! =D
Btw... no one mentioned how Rick Astley was called 'the next Sinatra' anywhere? Anyone heard of that before? Because he had/has a pretty distinctive voice! =)

I was researching Never Gonna Give You Up (I was bored) and found out that the barman in the music video spent most of his time passed out drunk, and that the first time he tried the backflip, he landed on his head.
