From the first ever RA, to RA3 and the expansion pack, I had a great time in my childhood savouring those games. What's your take on them? Soviets and raw land power? Allies and their amazing tech trees?
Yuri's Revenge was a nice comical expansion. I like how they add humour into the game, even if the humour is so cliched and lame. Makes the RA series stand out in stark contrast to other, gritty and darker strategy video games.
Apocalypses always kicked butt, until they got slightly nerfed in RA3. Agreed, the Japanese were excellent if you wanted a powerful navy, and with the emphasis on navies now, you could mope up much of your opponents with your fleet.
I haven't really played their other games, other than a spot of Tiberian Sun.
I have played C&C red alert 3 my all time favorite still play it to win all you needed was a big navy, big ground force, or big air force after that you won or you cold always use your super weapons XD. Good old days I hope they add more in the future too.
No offence, but super weapons are for wimps! I don't think one should specialize in a specific type of unit, especially in RA3, where one needs to attack on all fronts, if one wants to succeed against non-AI opponents.
