I need to know so that i can use it with pokemon emerald on the backwards slot of my DS. Also, is a standered DS(not dsi, ds xl, or 3ds) able to play pokemon platnium, or is that DSI only? And is there a action replay DS, or do you just use action replay DSI for the ds?
i have a feeling that the action replay for the gameboy will work for your ds, as it is backwards compatible. You can not play dsi games on the ds or ds lite, as their slots are slightly different. a DS action replay will work with a dsi but i DSI one wont fit into a ds. as for Pokemon Platinum, it says that their is a version for the normal ds, so buy that one instead of the dsi if you don't have a dsi.
