Good to see Jonny right up on the list.

Not exactly sure, but I like the vocals of Pierce the Veil's lead. Sounds a little like Kellin. Also, thank goodness you didn't include those clean vocalists who use Autotune, even though I'm a fan of some of them.

Oh, and here's a song of PTV. The lead of course, is the skinny lad, although the bloke doing the harsh vocals if of course Jeremy from A Day To Remember, another awesome metalcore band.

Nice list with excellent example songs there delossantosj! =)

But ahm... are we supposed to rank the 10 you proposed or are we to come up with a list of our own?
Because the latter would mean that I will go blank for sure!
*breaks a sweat* ...heh... *gulp* =/

Out of your depth here Daycee! Don't think you'll like Metalcore since it sounds almost nothing like good classic metal, most of the time. Synthesisers, AutoTune and all that jazz (metaphorically of course).

most metalcore acts dont have autotune.

but to answer your question daycee, i sort of just posted this list just to post it. expecting everyones criticism and comments, i posted this to get some good conversation going.

PCV's singer has a good voice, but doesnt touch the other singers on the list with the criteria i displayed. jeremy isnt as good of a singer as people make him out to be. cool dude, perfect for the spotlight, not the best singer, haha i still love ADTR to death

I've heard that Kyle Pavone of We Came As Romans has a horrible voice singing live....anyone can confirm this?

k here's the deal.

He is a good vocalist. People make him out to be so bad live and hes not as bad as people say he is. granted, he is not as good as people think he should be. but he is not horrible

That's quite a relief, considering that WCAR ranks quite high on my list of metalcore bands. Merci.

Woe is Me and blessthefall are excellent bands; haven't exactly heard much of the other two. I'm now going to drown myself in envy.

Such a pity that blessthefall doesn't come up with more songs like ''Hey Baby, Here's The Song You Wanted''.

emmure is brutal haha. they got some really dark lyrics. but they are one of my favorite bands.

the color morale... if you like bands like we came as romans, or woe is me, you will like the color morale
