Personally, I LOVE anime. I'm not sure when I got hooked, but I just think that its awesome. maybe it was naruto? anyways, If you like anime, please tell me which one and/or why. If you dont, then say so and i would like to know why too.
When I was younger and watched a lot of cartoons, the Anime stuff was first starting to emerge in cartoonland. And at first sight, I actually really liked the new style of drawing, making for some diversity in the (at the time) current collection of cartoons shown on TV.
But as the popularity of Anime grew and more and more of this type of cartoons and shows were displayed, I quickly found myself annoyed and irritated by the fact that every character kept making those typical anime faces whenever something is up...
This can be quite fun for a while, but does get old pretty quickly in my book! =/
So, bottom line here is... I used to like Anime, but I don't anymore! =)
I love anime, but I notice that there are a ton of cliche stories that get tiring. I like stories such as Death Note because they were original and never done before. And I'm sorry for all the Gundam fans out there, but if I see another Gundam series, my head would explode. I don't like franchises that go on for too long...
I have Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z on DVD I watched Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-Chan (Hilarious, but short, 6 total episodes, both seasons) Dororon Enma-Kun Meeramera (2011, the original is 1973) Ranma 1/2 InuYasha Rosario + Vampire (I like the manga better) Zatch Bell (Gash Bell), which I haven't watched since Toonami went off the air In the future, I plan to read/watch Sekirei, Lucky Star, and something else, but I can't remember the name.
