Hi,

I really don't know what it requires and if it's even possible, but it would be nice to be able to save your game progress online to AG servers in every flash game available here (instead of only local saves).

The online AG save game system is extremely useful and probably the biggest benefit of Armor Games at all. However, majority of games here allow only local saves and those cannot be carried over to another PC with your account. Allowing AG online save system for every game here instead of just local saves would improve AG3 A LOT.

Maybe this can be done by somehow redirecting the local save game directory of a game to AG servers so the save would be stored online while the game would still think it saves it to a local folder. Don't know if it's possible, but it definitely would be great if we would be able to use such a feature with the new AG v3 websites.

Just a suggestion...

The AG staff have no power over somebody else's game which uses a local save. It is up to the programmer to enable the ability of online saving. The admins working for ArmorGames do the best they can on trying to do this, as seen from many recent games that they have developed.

If you would like a developer to re-create the game enabling the online saving, you would probably have to pay them.

You can transfer flash game saves from one computer to another you know.....

I don't even know why I linked two sites with the same solution. Knock yourself out.

@nichodemus: Thanks for the tip However, it does not work somehow. Even if I copy the files to the proper AppData folder, the flash game does not read them and still offers me only a new game. When I reload the page with the, those files get deleted and the game creates its own new file, so again, it is not possible to continue...

Doesn't work on Mac or Linux if you're using those....

What you're suggesting isn't suitable for every game uploaded to ArmorGames you know... there are some games that only have a minimal capacity needed to store save game data, so using the "AG cloud" (for lack of a better word, I'll ' borrow' that) isn't neccessary.

And next to that is always the problem of the older games here on the website that use other means of programming and are probably not hooked into the "AG cloud" at all. And checking and altering all those single games might be too big of a job to start with it at all...
