Since Christianity FTW is a debate between christians and atheists I decided to make a new thread for a debate between christians and christians alone.
This is a debate between christian who have a different veiw of the bible, how to get to heaven, etc. It's about the types of christians and which ones are right and which ones are wrong. There are Roman Catholics, methodists, baptists, etc each with a different veiw of the bible.
This is a debate between the christians. State what type of christian you are and explain why you think being this type of christian is the right path.

I think if you don't have Gods help you would put a human spin on the bible which would make it wrong...

between christians and christians alone.Sorry, man, open game. You can't dictate who does and doesn't post on something. So, let's start.
I think if you don't have Gods help you would put a human spin on the bible which would make it wrong...Putting a human spin on the bible? We always do that. No one has "God's help" understanding the Bible. They just mangle the Bible to where it suits their world-view. Kinda explains why I'm an Atheist.

Actually the profets who wrote the bible did write as they saw images and quotes from god.Are you sure they weren't high? 'Cause that's what most people see when they're high...
Well, Christianity came from the Romans, who believed in something close to greek mythology. I'm pretty sure that stephenking is right, cuz, the Greeks would get prophets from women who drank liquids that are now known to get people high. Like, rage high. So, remember, those people turned into some of the first Christians. IDK, I learned that at school. I'm not even Christian, I'm Hindu, but, whatever.
@stephenking
What if it was possible to get help from Deity to understand the universe? Sorry, this is my first time here, and I don't know the normal rules of how things work here or how to respond the same way you all are, but frankly I can't believe that this universe was created out of nothing, and I can't believe that the creator would not be interested in what he created. If the Bible was meant to be used, then it would require help from Deity.
Point I'm trying to make is, some of us are trying to be true to the source- and I have had my fair share of idiots who would call a desert an ocean to get something in the scriptures to work for them, but many of us are trying. You can argue about whether we're right or wrong (and I'd rather not, because lets face it, it would never end and we'd gain nothing from it), but don't bash us because we're trying and messing up. Some of us are trying to get it right, and find the right answer instead of what we want to see.

that is why it is the job of those who don't belive to correct the difference between the two.

Good point. To be honest, and please don't take offense at this because I mean that as a compliment, but frankly my own belief is that God created atheism for that reason.

I do believe there is one correct answer out there, but somehow that is the only way to find it.
Seems quite an excellent idea for a Supernatural being to actually create the seeds of sedition and disbelief in Him if you can believe He created Atheism. What a brilliant plan.

yet live a good life that he inadvertently would approve of.
Christianity its real. First of all, Catholics, are not Christians. Second of all, I think this topic it pretty deep. Third of all, it you want to challenge my beliefs or my Jesus visit my comment box on my profile at Jake297. God is real and out there, people. And he loves his people, the true Christians.
