(strange title)was wondering why the best games always seem to be a game where your killing zombies trying to get to safety ? Now im not saying i dont like that because i love the last stand series. JCCOOL
Zombies are a popular genre of game. It gives the player a sense of excitement as they either need to escape or mow down hordes upon hordes of zombies. There is a great amount of action in zombie based games, and since action is the most popular genre of game it's no wonder why people enjoy them.
Zombies are the perfect bad guy. They can be any race, any sex, even any age. Because after all, they're already dead. And your traditional zombie is a slow, shambling thing which means you can have lots and lots of enemies for the player to engage with.
And everyone loves a bit of apocolyptic setting in their media, I think we secretly all want a zombie invasion to happen, just a little.
have you seen how many games have zombies in them there's a ton forget werewolves and vampires zombies are whats in plus in real life you cant get killed by a zombie then start the level over again not to mention more zombies more shotguns i think everyone likes shooting zombies with shotguns
