I've had an AG account for a while now and i am around 600 or so, but I wouldn't say I'm very recognizable. What I mean is, people don't go "hey I know him" if I post on their profile or comment on a game or in one of the forums. There are people, however, who are known throughout AG. People like Firetail_madness, Knight_34, the mods and admins, etc. Who are some well known Armor Gamers?
I noticed that you can become well known during your noob times if you post a bunch of threads that have some idiocy (ten hands start pointing at me) and thatyou conintue to insist on it without showing at least one piece of evidence (another thirty hands start pointing at me)then you go off ranting about something without reading an entire thread.(100 hands start pointing at me)
it's basically just a butt-pat thread without any proper content. It is limited as far it can go. Not to mention the discussion here is "Wow, I remember you !"
Not to mention it is just a somewhat crappy topic anyway. Take me for an example: What am I to be recognised on? When you first notice me, it will be by the common green armatar. This is nothing to be recognised by, since it is, as mentioned, common. Especially among stubborn people and newbies. Might as well be CP rather than myself. My writing style is nothing worth noticing, it is spontaneous and badly constructed and filled with errors, if certain people are to be believed. All there is left to go by is the name, which is not much to go by in the matter of recognition. It is more a matter of "have you seen this man before" rather than anything worthwhile.
had this thread been on memorable users, it might have been more fulfilling to be part of, as memorable people tend to have made an actual impact on people rather than just being someone you have seen before. Being recognised promises nothing but that someone has seen you before. They don't need to remember who you are, what your opinions are, how your write, what you write about or anything else that might be worth something in an online community.
Amusingly, this seems to be proved by the fact that people tend to mention people that has recently posted, or has recently been whining about not being mentioned (in joke or otherwise). Oh well.
Well, at least you're one of the people who write a decent amount of text, rather than some users who write just a few words, and forget about anything involving that. Also your strong opinions, like many other users, and previous administrator-ship.
I guess anyone who stands out, and lets their character define themselves online. They don't need to be extremely out-going, they can do that just by being part of a site. So, in actuallity, there are a decent amount of recognizable people on AG.
And yes, over-stupidity makes you easily recognizable too, probably not for the better though...
The funny thing is Cenere, in a few weeks, no one will even remember when you were a... a... a...
Pathetic, neurotic and talentless artist? Cohost of the WoM?
Yeah, I know. Though, to be honest, I doubt anyone remembers I am the cohost of the WoM...
I wasn't talking about Cenere when I said the remark about stupidity.
The generic you tend to get people in trouble. But yeah, I doubt anyone would have thought so anyway.
administrator-ship.
*mod. Also, I kinda like the idea of this big, green ship. The administrator ship. Hmm...

Well, yes. If you remember having seen someone before, they would be recognised. Whether they are worth remembering is another issue. And for forum behaviour, well, see the bunny thread.
By the way, Who are you? Oh now I remember you! Your that... okay I got nothing.
WoM is just "Way of Moderation", simply the longest running thread in Forum Games. At least I know it as that :P I've missed many pages of this thread. Can anyone explain to me what I missed?
