but this topic is for discussing all the mods for the game. like which mods do you recommend, which mods are just great fun. what are the pro's and cons of a mod in question.
i have downloaded a ****load of mods myself already (and most deleted because it was only fun for a bit or not working etc. etc. .
but a few that i recommend are: (all links go to the nexus site where is a bigger/better description and a download link.)
"SkyUI" - it reforms the menu to a way better sorting system, for better use on PC, it also adds a search box so you can find what you want in just sec's instead of scrolling the list for half an hour.
"House Map Markers" - it adds map markers at your house when you have bought them and have visited them
"Deadly Spell Impacts" - it retexture the impact that spells leave behind. like molten snow after a fire attack, or burned grass. then is done for all sorts of impacts from lightning strikes till spit.
"A Quality World Map - With Roads" - this mod changes the map to a better quality map. i use the "aper" map and it's much better then the default map
"Realistic Water Textures and Terrain" - this mod have multiple types of realistic water. (really much better then the default) when installing just keep "his" settings and it will look nice ^^
"Realistic Ragdolls and Force" - this mod changes the static ragdolls (people still sitting up right while being dead) to the way more realistic ragdolls where people will actually fall on the ground or whatever. also does it seem to me that people are lighter to pick up. it's all more like how it was in oblivion.
there are some more really great mods that i didn't add to this list. cause these are mods that i recommend to any1. it keeps the game fairly like skyrim is used to be (vanilla) (no crazy things like Chinese power girls singing a pop song in the intro while you are about to be decapitated) in a later post i will list some more mods. of which some i also recommend to every1 (couldn't find the download link or whatever now) and some mods that are just great fun.
if any1 else also likes to play whit the mods and have some recommend. also i would like to know what you guys think of the mods that are posted in this topic so i don't have only my own view but also that of others. it might give me ideas for new mods or to try a mod which i else would never try. because other people seem to have lots of fun whit it.
