The most awaited 84th annual academy Awards are in the air. Oscars are considered as an honor for any performer that is why people of Hollywood industry is looking to grab it and they will got this chance on this Sunday 26th Feb. Are you excited??
Honestly... I'm not excited about this 'competition' as I like to call it. The reason for my negative view of the whole charade is simple... over the years, a lot of true work of arts have been 'defeated' by commercial driven cash-cow movies, which defeats (grin) the whole purpose of awarding the Oscar to a movie: for being a true work of art! =/
IMO I think the Tree of Life should definitely win the Oscar for best picture. The acting in it was fantabulous and it was very well thought out. The Artist will probably win the award though. 2011 was a horrible year for movies, nothing that I saw in the theaters I enjoyed. Now I just mostly watch older movies that my dad recommends to me.
