Honestly I know nothing about Battlefield and I haven't played Skyrim but I have Oblivion. I don't personally like Halo anymore now that they seem to have run out of ideas. So tell me what games do you like out of these 5 and why. Also explain why they are better. and why or why not you would pick them to play.
I personally prefer Borderlands and have played it for years, the story doesn't seem to get old, there is plenty of DLC for it and the multiplayer co-op is fun. I like how after you beat the game you can still run around and play the story and kill the same guys and gain more levels.
Call of Duty MW3 and Battlefield 3 seems to be a big debate Skyrim was awarded game of the year. From what I've heard MW3 isn't that great. I haven't played it.
I wouldnt agree with you there, at least not that link. I am trying to focus on specific games and not a generalization. I don't want to know about someones favorite console and I don't want to know about random games. I want specific information about these 5 games on how it is a good game and why you might like it. I dont want random info.
What I was originally going for is Cod Vs. Halo COD vs. Battlefield Skyrim Vs. Fallout 3 And Borderland Vs. Fallout 3 But this obviously seemed to fail. Maybe I wont open a topic anymore. I was actually trying to search for a topic like this but with 534 pages it isn't that easy and I cant use the search for topics
The graphics of Battlefield 3 in Pc R ****ING AWESOME. and i really dont like halo at all. I think SKyrim for single players, Battlefield for PC's and CoD for platforms.
I really liked Halo for quite a while and it's weapons and features of the suit are alot better then the little options you have for cod, also I always liked games where you could really be a tank or really be a sharpshooter, also all the weapons in Halo are quite balenced, only thing I hate about Halo is that they got rid of the flood, seriously after they got rid of the flood I stopped playing Halo.
COD vs. Battlefield
I haven't really played much of either, but I will go wit battlefield for this one because more players could be in one game and its more team oriented so its more realistic and in games like those that's what you are looking for.
Skyrim Vs. Fallout 3
This comparison really is just a matter of taste, do you like medival stuff and melee galore, or a rpg shooter which is science fiction.
Well there is a comprehensive story in place, you can't just bypass that.
yes but, this is a story where a hologram was one of the mot emotional characters... So to try to put this in nice term I really didn't care much for the story and really just the gameplay. I think the point when I stopped caring about the sotry was when I was always playing multiplayer and whenever a character tried to put some plot I would imedietly kill them. Also there was always the three races, aliens, humans, and the fun to kill flood. The flood were what I always thought to be the most diverse since there really was no limit to what they could become, the aliens had to look human-like to show some intelligence (shows how shallow we are) but the flood was a hive mind (if i remember correctly) and always looked like discarded organic matter so they basicly had no limiit to what they could look like (the flood that would have been the comander in that spaceship in Halo1 would have been an epic boss if you didn't stick you fist into him)
well the hologram was past her rampancy, and was made to be the best, being a "smart" AI means she didn't stop learning which is why they have to be "killed" after a while because they develop strong emotions
also if you don't care for story, Halo really wasn't meant to be for you
(the flood that would have been the comander in that spaceship in Halo1 would have been an epic boss if you didn't stick you fist into him)
he wasn't the commander of the ship, as much as he was the central of the mind and no not really, because it has no means of personal defense other than ordering the flood to kill the enemy.

yes there was, they took over the host so they were limited to what the host was, plus the actual infection for yourself. only pure forms were really discarded matter, but that was really just bits and pieces from dozens of hosts.
also if you don't care for story, Halo really wasn't meant to be for you
Meh it was fun playing co-op at friends house, and really the story wasn't that good, and I'm surprised you didn't catch that I left out a race, the robots.
only pure forms
By pure forms do you mean the little springy jumpy things that are best killed with a assault rifle? Also I think in Halo3 they really didn't stick to the host rule since the Flood types really got wild in that game with the giant flood that if I remember correctly tanked alot of damadge and those if i remember correctly plant things that clung to walls and shot at you, also there was the dog type flood (as you can see I haven't played this game in a while).

nope
there are tank forms (really just a couple big bodies lumped togehter) stalker forms (the ones that most resemble what you talk about) and ranged forms (the most plantlike, but still made from people and aliens)

that isn't a race, the Forerunners you mean who created the "robots" (A.I. in a candy shell as i call them) they aren't really in there much seeing as they are extinct so naturally i wouldn't talk about them unless you're talking halo history
