*Last time I posted this it was quite a fail since I screwed up on the title and couldn't steer the topic in the right direction, so I'm trying agian. The reason for my very vague title is that I don't want people to skip the OP. That is why you might somehow connect the two threads together* What I am asking here is if you think you are able to teach things like NEVER putting your bare hands on a heated pot by just using video games as the source of your teaching. You really don't have any second thoughts about putting on hand protectors before touching a heated pot (especialy if you turned the pot off) or you never think of putting your hands on a flame, but that was probably learned by having your parents tell you or having yourself get burned by the flame, but I am saying to bypass all the other methods and instead use video games as a method for teaching that. I am asking about teaching very basic things because basic things require not much thought so it's almost immediate. So I want to know if you think it is possible, please explain why it is or is not possible and tie into your personal experiences of playing video games (if you have any)
I played a game once where a guy was warned not to touch the stove because it was hot. Then I was given an option wether to touch the stove or not. I clicked touch then the person caught on fire. That was epic!
