Are you cereal? This thread is just soooo....old. Everything doesn't have to be compared to rock, although rock is my favorite genre. I mean, we all know that rock is going to have the dominance in votes, and this thread is already becoming spaqm if you look above. 2 posts, which are spam. I, by the way, love rock music. There are just so many sub-genres inside rock and most are very good to listen to.
