So the game came out 6 march in USA and will be coming out 8 march in Europe. I already have the game thanks to my American uncle and I played it for 2 small hours. So far the game is more than it promises and it really great. The environments are really beautiful and you got a real feeling that the universe is at war with the Reapers. Anyone else has the game or am I the only one.
Probably gonna get it tomorrow. European. There are a couple of things that I don't like about it though, the DLC companion and the fact that the story continues from after a DLC to the second game, rather than the end of the second game.
So, yeah, I'm sort of looking forward to it, and I plan to buy it, but I'm not as hyped as I was before ME2.
So I'm now on 6.5 hours of gameplay and I'm not really that far in the story, but the environments just keep blowing me away. minor spoiler. Like one side mission I was on a moon and I stopped a moment and looked at the planet. And the planet was, just like the moon, under attack, and you just saw how big the planet was in comparison to the Moon and that the planet was being destroyed and I just felt that my character was small and not that powerful. This will probably be my GOTY.
I just beat the game. The ending is horrible. It doesn't explain anything. Why do the Reapers attack? Horrible, vague answer is given. I replayed the cutscene filled last mission twice to get 2 (out of 3) different endings.
First ending - Green explosions Second ending - Red explosions
It was the exact same cinematic, except the colors of the beams and explosions changed. Very disappointing.
I agree with Mega I'm really not in the mood for wasting more money on a console game, after wasting good money on Darkness 2 and realizing how short it was.

There are 5 different endings and at least 3 of them are original. I'm now on my 2nd playtrough and I will try to get the 4th ending. 2 friends got a different ending then mine and each other and on the Internet you can find that there are 5 endings.

Palaven? Oh my God... I had a serious emotional moment there, man. I had always felt that Garrus was the best squadmate throughout all three games, and seeing his homeworld (spoiler: and hearing him mention how he grew up in "that orange spot there" burning... OH MAN...
This game is the Honey Badger of Video Games. It just doesn't give a sh*t and takes what it wants. It doesn't pull punches, and it's not afraid of making the player grovel and cry at the incorrect actions its made. It really made me feel like I wasn't just playing a game, but really making tough decisions that determined the life and death of literally billions of lives in the galaxy.
I just finished, I never thought that Mass Effect of all games would be the one to let me down.
I'm not saying the game isn't great, it's by far one of the greatest trilogies I've ever played, and the only one that's ever kept me so invested in the overall outcome. As Chillz said, there's scenes in this game that will shock you even if you're a new player, and far more if you're a veteran.
The Ending? That I have a problem with, just liked thousands of others I invested hundreds of hours in this game over the last 4 years, and now? The ending that we looked forward to so much gives us nothing. We get a little splurge about countless possibilities and then of all things an advertisement for DLC.
