I thought it would be cool if we, as a community (not just me) picked a band every week and reviewed them. I feel this would be a cool way to find new music to listen to. Let me know if you guys as a community would like to do this, vote on what band/artist next week, and we all discuss them? Let me know please, i dont want to be the only one doing this, because then ill look like and idiot... and ya...
wow i feel lucky to get a response this early! I think the first band should be Guns and Roses, they are unique and full of talent. I actually just decided that people should vote on my profile/channel/page whatever you want to call it. The band/artist who gets the most votes wins, and gets posts and discussed on Monday. How does that sound?
since we are all trying to find new music, why dont we do reviews of people who have put out stuff recently?
you are also going to get so many different bands, that it will be dumb to keep tally. why dont you just take suggestions and you just decide who we review.

No point reviewing the more well known bands. Who doesn't already have an opinion about LP? Almost everyone has heard them; a review's purpose is to cover new music and new bands, not rehash endlessly old ones. Be abit like Christgau going back to review the Beatles each year.
you should just pick a band for a week and have a discussion about that band, then next week, put a new band up and let the discussion run with that band..

Axl has just completely lost his mind. He was way better when he was just on the brink of losing his mind. I don't know if any album in history was as much of a colossal disappointment as Chinese Democracy was. All the waiting, all the hype to put out that piece of garbage?

And yes i did start thinking yesterday: what is the point of discussing well known classic bands like GNR. Anyway keep suggesting on my page, and i will come to decision every Monday.
i always thought slash was one of the most overrated guitarists, axel is one of the worst singers, and their overall instrumentation was poor for the most part. my view of guns and roses isnt good at all. id give them a 4/10 overall
