Considering the company has officially announced it, and has a website and whatnot, it's clearly not a myth.

Well yes they are making it but they said it was going to come out last November too. Do you play the original btw?

What do you think of the new classes also ? i cant wait to try the engineer.

"They" (as in ArenaNet, or their publisher NCSoft) never claimed the game was going to come out last November. Some retailers (such as Amazon) had that date as their &quotlaceholder releasedate" on their preorder pages, but it never came from ArenaNet. Until recently, all ArenaNet ever stated was "when it's done". Only recently they have announced that the game will be released in 2012 (no exact details yet). And given that they're in closed beta right now, and that they just had a 50-hour signup session where 1 million people signed up for their beta, it's safe to say the game is definitely progressing and is definitely not a Myth.

It's not a myth. There's plenty of BETA footage on YouTube, they had a press beta not long ago.

I'd suggest looking at the Yogscast's GW2 vids, they've got a lot of info about the game, and they're amusing.
