I've had a problem with losing saved games, specifically with the flash game "Arcuz 2". I'd like to make a copy of the saved games and put them into a renamed folder so that if I do lose one of the "saves", I have a back-up. Where would the "Arcuz 2" saved games be located on my computer? I did try a search, however, couldn't find the file. I've also found that if running something like ccleaner, the saved games file get's deleted, that's another reason I'd like to be able to back up the saved games.

You should not need to have save games onto your computer. Also, if your saves are not working online then there is no reason why they should work saved onto your computer. You are not making a copy of the game. You are just saving a web archive. This will just take the url, open your browser and directly search for it. Saving it onto your desktop or wherever will not save it. It will just create a quick link the the webpage. It is the same as searching it through your browser. Also, if you are running Firefox, there are things like tracking and history options. you need to say that you want websites to track you or there will be no saved games. That might only be for Firefox. CCleaner is a more common problem. Games do not save while it is active. Check your setting on your browser.

This might help you. And no, if I'm not wrong, most flash games will save directly onto your computer in the form of cookies, and are NOT saved to some distant web server; this explains why playing non-multiplayer games on one account only allows you to continue playing that saved game on the same computer and not on another computer, even if you logged in with the same account.

And if I'm not wrong, since Arcuz 2 is not a multiplayer games, there should be a saved file on your computer.

C:=>Program Files=> <your web browser here> => Cookies=> <your flash save name here>

Thanks to you both. I wasn't able to find the file. Actually, besides keeping a backup, in the original Arcuz 2 thread (very long) someone had posted a file called "Arcuz.sol" and said that it could be downloaded and placed in the Arcuz file. It had some super equipt. etc. and I was just going to try it out. But, with the Arucz file not being "found", nowhere to put the new file. I guess I'll have to keep grinding away.

After a little comp work, I did find the file. For Win XP-Pro, here's how to find it. Click "start" then "search". Type cache.armorgames.com then click search. The search won't find it the first time. Enable "show hidden files and folders" then click "search" again. The folder comes up. This should work for all "saved" games. BTW, I put the .sol file I had gotten into the folder and deleted the old one. It was as close to "God-mode" as I've seen in Arcuz 2...had a blast playing half the night, lol.

I meant to put this in my previous post. Using the method to find the .sol file that I described, a copy can be made and put into a differently-named file for those that have a problem with "losing" saved games. At least you'd have a back-up from the last time you saved your game.

It may be Google Chrome or try installing Adobe Flash Player and Java it might help.
