Hello. I play colony. And I like 1 vs 1s and so do many other colony players. Many of them, including me, choose Monarchy as their government, because it gives then a lot of powerful influence units. There is another government called Fascist. Fascist is energy based, and is a lot weaker than Monarchy. In 1 vs 1, probably almost all Fascist strategies get beate by monarchy strategies. Can anyone tell me: is there any strategy that Fascist can beat Monarchy with? Thanks.
Just because you aren't mon doesn't mean you can't get ops and abuse influence units. Properly played forge ops as fasc can beat a mon opponent.
If the opponent goes ops first, it's as easy as roman rushing. That's all you have to do, and the only thing the mon can do about it is canceling their ops and making something else, which then slows down their build.
Fascist has an advantage on mon in terms of tier 1 fighting. No matter how good the mon player's micro is, the fascist opponent will almost certainly win a committed tier 1 fight. The best thing for a mon player to do in this situation is to either rely very heavily on med teams, or to go for ops right away, assuming the player is post (if he's forge it's gg already). If the mon player goes for the meds, he will have less influence to create both a sphinx and a saint, which is what would shut down a forge opponent. If he goes for ops, it means that he would have to go tankless for quite a while to get the resources, and in that time the fascist player could finish the game. If the mon player's micro is really good and the fascist player's is really bad and the mon player is holding out in the tier 1 fight, then the fascist would still probably maintain field control.

This.
The problem with monarchy is gaining field control early in 1v1's. If the opponent, fascist or capitalist can get an early position, they make THE SAME AMOUNT of influence as the monarchy players and have more resources/faster build times. Monarchy only wins against inexperienced players imo.

Then you're calling MiamiBigAL an inexperienced player. Using Monarchy, you can go Bank, then Ourpost, then hospital, then Special Operations. If you can't hold until Special Operations, you can still build a War Sanctum and make 2 saints, and still have a chance. Who is the best Fascist, I bet I can play him and defeat him using Monarchy. And LifeMaster, I never see you on colony, do you play colony, or do you used to play colony???

You just completely obliterated your credibility with that.
As monarchy u have the option of going arm (mod phantom) ops first, or mod sakata, non of these can put on early pressure meaning u always get early field control. If they go ops first bank forge roman rush them with 12+ Romans will bring them down before their missile can launch, if thru go mod then just build tons of scouts. The point is monarchy is extremely weak before they get their influence units up and even then they still need a good amount of influence units before they become hard to break.
