I'm having a problem with the Blast Shield quest. Earlier in the game when I had the Warrior shield, i spent some time seeing if I could craft any the materials with the Warrior Shield and I found out you could do it with an Iron Globe.
The problem is that this happens to be a quest later in the game. I already have the Blast Shield, but I can't make it again because you need a unique item. So I can't complete the quest even though I made the item earlier.
Is there anything I can do about it other than restart the game?
Unfortunately, there is no way to complete the quest without restarting the game if you've already crafted the Blast Shield. To my knowledge, this hasn't been fixed, irritatingly enough. Luckily, the rewards for the crafting quests are so paltry that there is little reason to do them aside from completion (and acquiring items, of course). There is also a late-game quest to forge an even more powerful shield from the Blast Shield, but it requires a specific forge and is therefore difficult to render uncompletable by accident.
