1) People have different opinions on what is "good" and bad.
2) Some people don't rate games honestly, and do so out of either frustration or because they want AP.
3) Games generally get a rating close to what they deserve.
I have found that I usually rate games lower than the average. Whether it's because I have higher standards or actually look at it objectively, I don't know. Out of all the 490 or whatever games I've rated, I've only given around 20 of them at most a 10/10. I've given more 9.5s, a lot more 9s, but the average rating I give is probably a 7.5. I only play games in the first place if I think they will be interesting to me anyways (for instance, I'm not going to spend my time playing a dress-up game just so I can rate it, because I know I won't like it anyways)
To stop my rambling...calling people retards because they have a different opinion than you doesn't do anything.
This is because somebody will think that it isn't worthy of a 10 because: Errors in spelling and/or grammar Boring gameplay(in their opinion) Not a good as the original game(if it is a continuation of a game) Graphics(sadly, this is the majority of bad ratings in games) Glitches Boring storyline multiplayer hackers Too hard or too easy
These are just some of the reasons a person might not give it a 10/10.
Of course, there is the guy that rates for AP(Myself, but i rate the average).
