Is homosexuality right or wrong?

if the words "yes" and "no" had a child then i would use the name of that child to answer this question.

a male child molester who rapes young boys is wrong but two homosexual men/women who love eachother is right. sorry for my english...

Are you saying heterosexual pedophiles are ok? If not, why did you even mention pedophiles in this thread?

xAyjAy, statistically most pedophiles are heterosexual men, so what are you trying to get at?

As I've been saying homosexuality is likely the result of epigenetics.

Epigenetics Is A Critical Factor In Homosexuality

"A new study, published in The Quarterly Review of Biology, reveals that sex-specific epi-marks can contribute to homosexuality. Normally, these epi-marks are not inherited and are thus lost. However when they are not lost, they are able to transfer from father to daughter or mother to son."

"This study provides an answer to the evolutionary mystery of homosexuality, suggesting that "sexually antagonistic" epi-marks can, at times, pass from generation to generation and result in homosexuality in opposite-sex children. The mathematical modeling shows that the coding of the genes for these epi-marks can spread in the population easily because they invariably raise the fitness of the parent, but are very rarely erased and do not reduce fitness in their children."

@wont:

It's okay, honey, maybe all you need to do is find the right gay man

Was that a sexual advance you just made on me? How dare you; i'm straight and have gone to Third Base with my girlfriend. The last gay man who made advances toward me got sued for a couple thousand dollars for harassment. Dont make me use the law. And to stop those questions; no, my own experiences do not contribute to me thinking gays are unnatural, and because of recent arguments, I'm totally fine if you keep it in the bedroom.
Sex is a choice. You choose to be gay or straight. And according to US law, your choices are protected unless they infringe or take away other's choices.
[/i]Just a quick note: I dont believe in bisexualism. I dont want to explain it, so dont ask me too.[/i]

Pangtongshu: Oh, sorry. Missed your post.
IF you have a natural sperm and egg, but bring them together unnaturally, it's...semi-natural. In my opinion, it better be all-natural or nothing. That's my opinion, do whatever -you- want.

Magegreywolf:
It would be the other way around, any living thing belongs in a species. What you're saying is similar to saying all hockey teams belong in hockey players. It doesn't make sense that way. To carry this analogy further you're statement of reproduction would be similar to saying how all hockey players on a team are trying to score a goal. This completely ignores that on that team (species) there are those playing other roles other than just scoring goals. If everyone on the team were scoring goals, that team would lose.

If everyone on both teams (IE: All humans), then it comes down to who scores goals better who wins. By the way, a teamwork-sport like Hockey needs different goals and strategy. Sex...only needs two people/roles: Male and Female, and they're equal in importance. Not like Hockey, where certain roles like Goalie is more important than, say, defencemen. But the last one's my opinion.

Well, did not know that. I guess that explains why homosexuality persists in the population even though homo's cant have kids naturally.

It's not about the act of sex that makes one gay or straight. It's the emotional and physical attraction that individual experiences. That is not a choice and as noted in the link I just posted it's largely controlled by gene expression.

By the way, a teamwork-sport like Hockey needs different goals and strategy.

Yes and the survival of a species can be like this as well. Especially in social animals like ourselves. Not everyone in the species has to have the same goals and strategy and having those within the species with different goals and strategies can be beneficial to the species as a whole.

Well, did not know that. I guess that explains why homosexuality persists in the population even though homo's cant have kids naturally.

Homosexual does not equal sterile. Why is that so hard for you to understand, especially after it's been explained to you?

No person would opt to be a homosexual in this world, especially historically, where gays were burned, stoned, hung, etc, etc.

Well, did not know that. I guess that explains why homosexuality persists in the population even though homo's cant have kids naturally.

A gay man is completely capable of having a child, but his homosexual partner is not capable of creating a child, but he can also have kids, he needs a woman to do so though. Gay men can have sex with women and produce children.

No dearie, sorry to break your heart, but I wasn't propositioning you.

If you are really completely heterosexual, why the strong reaction to the merest suggestion of homosexuality? Perhaps you are hiding something from yourself.

You claim to have a girlfriend, and yet struggle with understanding the difference between procreative and recreational sex. Hmm.

Sex is a choice. You choose to be gay or straight.

Sexuality of all sorts has been demonstrated by numerous studies to have a genetic basis. If you are really interested in learning about the subject, you should look into them, rather than simply asserting with no factual basis that homosexuality is a choice.

Just a quick note: I dont believe in bisexualism. I dont want to explain it, so dont ask me too.

So what would you call someone who is sexually attracted to both men and women than? All evidence points towards the existence of bisexuality, despite your pointless denial.

Sex...only needs two people/roles: Male and Female, and they're equal in importance.

Once again, humans have sex for pleasure as well as procreation. Procreational sex requires at least one fertile set of male and female genitalia each, but recreational sex can have any combination.

I notice you keep using the phrase "I believe." Do your claims have any factual support, or are they baseless speculation?

No, actually what happened was he made an advance, you told him you weren't gay and he moved on.

@EPICgameKING

your argument still has one major flaw that makes it moot...you don't define 'natural'

Existing in or caused by nature

By the definition I have so graciously provided for you, we see that homosexuality is, in fact, natural.

(also...so there is no nit-picking...by nature it does not mean environment, but biological)

and this is called homophobia. im sure you wouldnt have reacted that way if it was a girl right? what if youd advance to a girl, and she would do the same because she is a lesbian? your logic is horibbly damaged and controled by your insecurities

homosexuals do not just advance to a random guy.
especially in countries were homosexuality is frowned upon they dont. (over here they do it neither tho.)
it can be their death if they do so. they 1st make sure if the guy they like is gay befor making a advance.

beside wontgetmycatnip did it in a funny way. kinda obvious it was joke.
