I spent a few years as a federal civilian employee, painting vehichles and shelters for primarily army and marines. Don't know if that makes me enough of a military person for your question, but I've seen hurry up and wait, good enough for government work, and always remember it was made by the lowest bidder first hand.

Going to begin my mandatory national service in the army next year, with a month back at camp for the next 30 years. So not yet, but soon enough.

Not really but my dad was in the Air Force so I have lived on bases and stuff. I know lots of military stuff because of it.

I'm only military minded in the fact I have missed the the Age of Sail. What could be better and more magnificent then a First Rate Ship 'o the Line that you are captain of? Fire!

My grandpa was in the military in the '60s. (ithink, not sure) He was in the Vietnam war, and was fighting for america. He survived, and always tells me and my family all about the war and what happened. God Bless Him!
