A bit of a forum game, but since it deals heavily with songs, I feel it should go here.
The rules are quite simple: Simply name the song that the above lyrics are from. Try and see if you can do it without using Google. :P

It's "Another Satellite" by "XTC"! Excellent song! How did you come up with that one?! I liked "Sense Working Overtime" better though, from the 1982 album "English Settlement"... =)

Ur like my dad, he knows like any old random song on the radio XD old or new. And ur good that this, i'm only good at certain old bands and new bands. :P
"Another satellite" is correct i love that songs oh and i love "Sense Working Overtime" too. My dad got me into XTC when i was young and i listen to a lot of it now. Don't know the one posted by Maverick. Its a tricky one, congrats to the person who gets it

Now that I've vented my spleen, thanks to everyone else whose actually followed the rules. And since no one has been able to guess my lyrics for a few days now, I'll just go ahead and tell you now: its Great Vacation by the Dirt Poor Robins. Heard them on Pandora awhile back, and thought they were pretty good, so I'm rather surprised to find out they're relatively unheard of. I'll put up some new, and hopefully easier lyrics:
