A bit of a forum game, but since it deals heavily with songs, I feel it should go here.

The rules are quite simple: Simply name the song that the above lyrics are from. Try and see if you can do it without using Google. :P

That being said, name this song:

I was there when the bear ate his head,
He thought it was a candy. (Everyone knows in the end)
Knock, knock, on the door.
Whose it for? Theres nobody in here. (Look in the mirror my friend)

In the state of mind its my own private suicide

Green day with homecoming
Honestly i'm surprised nobody posted greenday before

Marry me girl be my fairy to the world
Be my very own constellation
A teenage bride with a baby inside
Getting high on information
And buy me a star on the boulevard

Finally a song I know!!! =D

Californication by the 'Red Hot Chili Peppers'!

My turn! YAY!!

*chinrubs*

What shall we do, what shall we do... oh yes!

This one:

Used to be so easy to give my heart away.
But I found out the hard way,
there's a price you have to pay.
I found out that love was no friend of mine.
I should have known time after time.

Really?! Thanx! I really appreciated that! =)

I was actually starting to think about giving up on the thread you know... every time I checked into it, the new song was a complete puzzle to me and because I refused to use google... I was left empty handed every time! (o.O)

So, really... thanx! =D

And did you try to guess my lyrics by the way?

DayCee..

That would be Gary Moore singing Still Got The Blues

Nice song.. My 3rd favorite actually.

So now I get to do one again...

So here's my situation for all the world to see
Gone is my innocence, all that's left is me
Rising up just to tear me down
I can be your perfect stranger but just not now

Insomnia drains my life
Gone is the stranger from a forgotten time
Fly me out of the window sill
No, it ain't about my life and it ain't about my will

It's actually the same song, but named differently... I looked it up and "Das Racist" have covered the song written and recorded by "Billy Joel", so... both answers are correct guys!

And we're still stuck with the lyrics from ilberic, for which I have no clue who they are from... no clue whatsoever!!

Hint? (o.O)

My lyrics are from a genre that I have a feeling nearly nobody on this site really listens to... the Blues.

You did Gary Moore, so that inspired me. I don't even know half of the songs or artists that have come and gone on this thread, so I figured all is fair in love of music. I think I went a bit more mainstream in the first lyrical posting that I did, but now it's all about me, me, me. Lol.

And once again i consider myself lucky that my father listens to nearly anything, so as we were washing the car and we had some music on, well i had the chance that this song was on
Joe Bonamassa Dirt in my pocket

Dont cry to me oh baby
Your futures in an oblong box, yeah
Dont cry to me oh baby
Should have seen it a-comin on
Dont cry to me oh baby
I dont know it was in your power
Dont cry to me oh baby
Dead-end girl for a dead-end guy
Dont cry to me oh baby
Now your life drains on the floor
Dont cry to me oh baby

Die, Die, Die my Darling by the Misfits, also covered by Metallica on the Garage inc. Album

Integrate, into one,
Metamorphic reaction,
All will fade, all but one,
Evolution has begun...
