I understand what you say but it isnt right. Bethesda is in fact split in two companies. Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. Softworks are the Piblisher and Game Studios create the game. So when Obsidian created the game, Bethesda Softworks published it. And Bethesds Game Studios was creating Skyrim (most likely).
The fact that Bethesda is multiple companies doesn't mean anything. Bethesda owned the rights to fallout. Bethesda paid for everything. Bethesda probably even created the story. The fact that Obsidian actually made the game doesn't mean it wasn't a Bethesda game.
bethesda has more company's. of wich "zenimax" is the publishing company.
I thought zenimax was the parent company with the lawyers and bethesda softworks was the publisher.
