I haven't seen a thread about this, so I should probably post this. Edd passed away on March 25th. The man was 24 years old at most, but due to his battle with cancer his life was cut extremely short. An amazing animator and voice actor on youtube is no longer with us.
To be honest, I haven't known the man at all, nor have I heard/seen anything from his work before this thread you started about him...
But after reading your OP, I decided to have a look at the RIP-video and some of his other videos suggested on YouTube and I think it is indeed a shame he passed away and isn't able to continue his nice work.
He seems to have been a talented man and will surely be missed by his followers and fans... So R.I.P. Edd... =/
