Yes, you have read that right. As some of you might know the blockbuster from James Cameron is going in 3D a 100 years after the real Titanic sunk. Share your thoughts!
Really?! Sounds reasonable to do that with it's history of sinking 100 years ago as a 'remembering thought' of that dreadful catastrophical accident... =/
It must surely look awesome when those parts were falling down from the back of the ship when it was already tilted and sinking! =)
If I really wanted to watch Titanic, I wouldn't feel that the 3D effect would really add anything. I'm not a huge fan of 3D in the first place, but this just doesn't seem like the right movie to spend millions of dollars on....again.
The high point of the movie for me was the Kate Winslet paint scene. Now that part I'd be fine with watching in 3D.
Ya. I don't think that they should have made it in 3D. There will probably be the die hard fans that will go see it but I think they will lose money. Adding 3D to a movie doesn't add much so it is not worth it.
Titanic is projected to make $30 million by Sunday. That's $12 million more than what Cameron spent converting the movie to 3D. Don't be dumb guys, this is Titanic, this is huge (pun intended).
I'm fairly neutral when it comes to 3D, I don't really need it but if a movie has it I don't complain.
I saw Titanic for the first time at all and also in 3D yesterday. It was truly incredible!!! Seeing it on the big screen and in 3D definitely made for the experience. Yeah, people who have already seen it wont want to go see it again but I loved it. Amazing movie and made it even more amazing in 3D.
