I have a real problem with the volume here on the site. Every other website, program, or game I run on my computer, the volume of my computer is set to 100%. However, a comfortable volume here, just on Armorgames, is between 15-20%, and I can still hear some games a a setting as low as 5%. The volume is loud enough to cause me pain if I do not remember to turn it down before I visit here. Was this done on purpose for some reason, or is it just some sort of error?
Thank you for your utterly useless post. If you note, "Every other website, program, or game", which means if it is a problem with my computer, it is a problem that my computer has with THIS website and NOTHING else
If it is just a matter of you toggling the volume on your computer, then there really isn't a problem here. If there was no comfortable setting on your computer, and if you were a tad nicer... then something might get changed. The admins are busy busy, and are most likely not going to bother themselves with such a mundane non-issue.
Do you have an equaliser setting in your internet settings? On some devices you can set all volumes across the spectrum to be the same. (You can also do things like bass boost, treble boost, ect..) If this doesn't work or you don't have an EQ option. You are just gona have to write a note.
P.S.- I seem to have the same problem but it is with every website, so an EQ won't work :/
Do like I did... but a rather cheap 2.0 speaker set with a volume dial on it and every time you have a problem with a game being LOUD, just simply (and quickly) turn down the dial and...
Well just adjust your volume and see if the game your currently playing has options for adjusting the volume, also try using headphones/earphones to see how that works?
It can depend on weather your speakers came with the computer or not. If they did and you are using them for something else then that may cause a problem. If AG sends out a frequency wave that does fit your speakers ones because it is different your EQ changes, changing the sound. Depending on what computer you have, you may have an option for an auto control of your volume which will set an appropriate gain for each website. Again, as suggested above, EQ's are very useful. Also, if you have some high tech stuff and you are using/causing a loop, your speakers will magnify a suttle difference 5fold. So removing a loop if you have one stops there being such a loud volume. Also there are some cables that I believe can serve the purpose if dimming the volume should it be loud. Also it may be that your speakers are set to a high gain. This means that if AG was only slight loader, again it will come out very much loader on your speakers. This is unfortunately hard to change. Also, what output are you using from your computer/laptop what ever you have?? If you are using a USB then get some cheap line in 3.1 mm/headphone socket speakers or vice versa. Then just set them at appropriate level and switch when necessary. Again a variable switchover with presets is good. It means you can jus press one button and the speakers will go to a lower volume that you have already set.
There is no point speaking to the mods about this problem because while they can speak to you there is nothing they can actually do about it. An admin would be needed and they can be hard to contact cause they do not usually respond on their account. And they will not be bothered or will want to deal with it. Some do some don't. With such a fairly small problem, you will just have to do what you can and try to tackle the problem at it source.
