I hate that cartoon series that they have nowadays and It just seems like they are making a new 3D movie just to keep the series alive. I like star Wars but George Lucas seriously messed up by making the last 3 first because now they can't make anymore movies that make sense and then games like the force unleashed don't make any sense either.

I like Battlefront 2 and the force Unleashed 1 and 2 I like a lot of the Legos but when they start scraping the bottom of the barrel just to find more ideas then that is when I get concerned.

I agree with the part about The Force Unleashed.

I have the game but I still do enjoy it. And the Legos games are cool.

I also completely agree with you on the one about that new cartoon series. Its a complete piece of $h!t because its not really interesting and I havent watched the whole Star Wars series (or any of the movies for that matter) but that TV show probably has nothing the same.... I just dispise it.

I've played all of the Lego Star Wars games, watched all of the movies, and beaten Force Unleashed. I don't really like that 3D TV show, I find it boring because you know nobody important is going to die.

That's... weird. Why'd you make a thread about something you haven't seen?

The TV show isn't 3D the new remake of the Phantom Menace will be 3D

I find it very odd that no one seems to like star wars or admit that they like it.
The best games so far for me were the Lego games and The Force Unleashed 1-2

Not.

Even.

Close.

I like many of the Star Wars games and definitely two of the best were KOTR 1 and 2. Also, there were the fighter games which were quite good, and there's also Star Wars Battlefront which I played briefly.

The Force Unleashed one was not that great and I heard that the second was worse.

The Lego Star Wars games were all comedy and while amusing, not that great of gameplay.

remake of the Phantom Menace will be 3D

Sorta pissed they're remaking Phantom Menace. It's good as it is. The ones that need to be remade are 4, 5, and 6. The acting is horrible, the lightsabers look really dopey, Luke is a bumbling moron and Darth Vader has 2 moves, swing left and swing right. Not to mention he walks at 1/2 mph. Seriously, any 10 year old could beat Darth Vader in a lightsaber fight in those 3 movies, Luke is just a retard who doesn't understand that you're supposed to hit the person HOLDING the lightsaber, and not the lightsaber itself.

The second one was actually alot better its just it was way short and they didn't have much ideas. George Lucas screwed himself over by creating the last 3 movies first. They all pretty much sucked but they were classics. But they make the force unleashed suck.
And yeah battlefront was awesome but it was really easy. Unless you played multiplayer.

I laughed so hard reading your comment about the old movies. That was so funny but anyway yeah they should remake them.

The movies...

I'll give a quick review of each.

The Phantom Menace: A nice start (or er, flashback?) to the movie series, I liked the fight between Darth Maul, Qui-gon, and Obi-wan quite a bit. Definitely one of the best lightsaber fights. I felt like they spent forever on Tatooine though and not much time on the taking back of Naboo from the Trade Federation. Jar-Jar was amusing, not quite breaching into the realm of an annoying character, but the Droids didn't have all that much of a role.

The Clone Wars: Perhaps the best one, it covered a wide range of areas and had the largest scale fights. The droids finally came into their own and played their parts. I can't really think of any downsides except for the very start with the Bounty Hunter which was quite tedious and annoying to watch.

Revenge of the Sith: Another good one, with a nice opening scene and the progression of Anakin to the Dark Side was well done. Again, not really any problems, except for how he got beat by Obi-wan. That was such a lame and pathetic end to their fight.

A New Hope: Okay, let's see...We spend about 20 minutes watching Luke play in the Sand. We then meet old guy who pulls out a legendary weapon from a wooden chest and Luke isn't at all surprised. They then return and show some pictures of skeletons...great. Moving onto the Millennium Falcon, which is the biggest piece of junk in the entire history of Starwars and yet they -repeatedly- claim it's the fastest/best ship everz. How many times does the Hyperdrive get blown out btw? Anyways, moving onto the "Help me Obi-wan" the voice acting was pathetic. She sounds bored. The entire death star was stupid too, which mostly revolved around Han getting chased by about 50 Storm Troopers who can't hit space in a vaccuum, ending with Obi-wan "disappearing." I mean, what the hell? Lightsabers aren't disintigrator weapons, his head should have rolled.

Empire Strikes Back: Probably the best of the original three, it has some fighter scenes, Luke isn't a major retard as much as in the other movies, manages to kill some yeti and goes to see Yoda...and then the movie dies, hard. Mr. crazy puppet tells mr. moron in between cackling madly that he shouldn't go fight Darth Vader, but he goes anyways. Once there, Luke gets beat by someone who can't even bend over 40 degrees and fights like he's chopping wood. Then the most pitiful voice scene comes about with Darth Vader's corny "Luke, I'm you're father" and his uber fake "NOOOOOOO" in between crying and being pitiful and backing up, then looks like he tried to commit suicide.

Return of the Jedi: Okay, so Luke has a metal hand now so he's a supposed ******? Walking into a Hutts base in all black, cool as a clam...until like the moron he is doesn't use the force to sense the floor going to open, falls in and sees the rancor, is too stupid to just force-throw his lightsaber through the rancor's tiny brain and instead bashes a rock into a 80's garage door opener, causing an inch thick sheet of metal to fall onto the 30 foot tall huge rancor which somehow crushes it. So he rescues Leia and Han, they go to the planet where teddy bears came alive, and get to watch the storm troopers epicly fail as they get their war machines taken down by teddy bears on hang gliders with slingshots. Sweet. All good, until we get to see Luke again in the death star fight Darth Vader. He pulls about 5 completely unnecessary and suicidal spins to counter Darth Vaders downward chopping, and then just gets shocked to hell by the Emperor. Turns out Luke doesn't even kill the Emeperor, mr. 1/2 mph throws him down some celestial garbage chute which, in the movie, makes it seem like that destroys the death star, not Lando's infiltration team which takes out the core. Ending with party with the Teddy bears it's all cool and Luke acts like a ****** again when he just got beat up in the deathstar and was saved by his father anyways.

The Clone Wars:

I think you meant attack of the clones. Clone wars is the series on cartoon network and also a cartoon that they made that almost no one knows about but it was before the third one.

That summary was actually really good and I busted a gut laughing so hard at it. But anyways the 4,5,6 episodes were made first back in the 80s so you can't blame them that much for sucking. I wish they remade them with modern technology now. But all they ever do is digitally restore them and it doesn't do crap.

Oh yeah and republic commando was a pretty great game too

My favorite time in the Star Wars history is during the clone wars and episode 3. Although the government was corrupt, it was still a republic and a democracy. The jedi were powerful. The republic had an army and a good one too. It was a good time.

I don't really get why in attack of the clones jango fett was bad, but the clones he created were supposedly good. Also, the clone wars is not referring to attack of the clones. The clone wars is between attack of the clones and revenge of the sith.

I don't really like the last 3 episodes. Old. Bad special effects. Made in the '80s. The first 3, which was more recent is better. My favorite episode would be revenge of the sith. And the special effects is amazing. Especially the beginning space battle(battle over corusant). That was the most recently made movie.

I'm an expert at star wars. Especially the first three episodes.

About clones:
Phase 2 is better than phase 1. If you don't know what I'm talking about; phase 1 is the armor that clones wear during attack of the clones. Phase 2 armor is worn during the later part of the clone wars and episode three.

I don't really like the v9 torret starfighter. Looks weird. The other vehicles are cool though. The republic gunship is my favorite.

I know that but the summary he mentions is based on attack of the clones.
In referring to clones the reason they are so lame in the third movie is because they are computer generated in in the first 1-3 movies but back in the 80s every clone was a real person.

I never understood, the voice acting in old movies is often TERRIBLE. I can understand the effects, but the voices...perhaps there just weren't as high standards/as many people auditioning?

In all honesty, I'd be okay with 4, 5, and 6 if they didn't speak in such choppy sentences, monotones and have crappy lines, as well as actually had a fight and not the equivalent of 2 5 year olds repeatedly smacking two sticks together for no other purpose.

I don't really get why in attack of the clones jango fett was bad, but the clones he created were supposedly good.

Jango Fett was a bounty hunter. He was neither good nor bad, he just had no scruples about who hired him and for what.

The clones were very similar, they just took orders from the one who commissioned them (the sith)
