Let us discuss our favorite games and memories from the greatest console ever made.

They can keep on improving on the graphics and the sheer size of the game worlds, but I've yet to see a game that immerses me as much as Ocarina of Time. There's a certain quality about the tale and just the right amount of openness that I feel free, but not abandoned.

Super Mario 64 is still the best 3D Mario game and had crazy good controls.

Conker's Bad Fur Day is the single most fun multiplayer game I've ever played. Psychotic little animals tearing each other apart with big guns and screaming obscenities at one another? They don't make 'em like that anymore.

No appreciation for this console..... It's not that good(even in its time) and very boring... Quite easy to beat the games.

If you don't Appreciate it then move on and post on something else. No need to come hate on stuff others like without a valid reason.

And why does Killersup10 talk about himself as if hes not around.

it is a great consol but over heated evey now and then after a few hours.

Wow never had a console overheat except the Xbox. People play games too much

N64 was an amazing console. It still lasts unlike todays xbox 360's and what not breaking every couple years.

My favorite games for the N64 would have to be:
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Mario Kart 64
Starfox 64
007: Golden Eye
Super Mario 64
Sarge's Heroes 1 and 2
Gemini Jetforce

Loved those games. I have many good memories of playing those with my brothers.

Star Fox 64 is easily my favorite N64 game, if I could find it. Sometimes, though, I wish I got an N64 instead of the PSX.

Pff, I could write all day about N64 games:

Ocarina of time, Super Smash Bros, Conker Bad Fur Day, Excite bike, Killer Instinct, Golden Eye, Star Fox..

I think it's the best console ever.

I liked how easy the controls were for the N64 and I loved the split screen mutiplayer. I wish games that they made nowadays had more 4 player splitscreen. I don't always like to have to go online and play with a bunch of ******bags.

The controls were great, yeah, but the controller was a little...
Three-handed?

Now the N64 with the Gamecube controller, that would've been flawless.

The only bad thing about the N64 controllers was the joystick. It was breakable, wore out, and wasn't as smooth.

All of my N64 controllers are so worn out and a few of the joysticks have snapped from over-use. The buttons work fine, but not the joysticks, which are pretty necessary.

I agree. Some of my controllers are so bad that If I leave the game on and don't pause it then my character will walk forward

well you never realy used both, the arrow buttons + L button and stick + z button, at the same time. (or they had the same settings) so it didn't mater. it was just a add so that both, people that liked the classic style of arrow buttons and those that liked the new thumb-stick controles, could play it as they liked.

Mine worked for a decent amount of time. However, we had three people (me and my two brothers) using them for over 6 years, plus our friends. It's not surprising that they're worn out.

Unfortunately, I am unable to fix them because I would need to get replacements for the two little plastic parts that connect to the joystick which register the imputs.
