I don't really like that idea. I don't want my e-mail getting clogged up with the stuff like it does with Facebook. BTW, this should be optional if it does go through.
Or, instead... they can add a checkbox underneath every thread for you to check/enable if you want to be notified whenever a new post is added to it?
That would be really convenient if there are threads you really want to keep tabs on and then of course with only 'one' notification for the first entry and not the following ones...
Lol, and i wouldn't want my inbox filling up with stuff that goes straight to the trash >.<
You could, of course..., rename your Inbox and call it "TrashBox"? LOL
No seriously, I've seen other forae that had threads with a comment box that had a checkbox with it that was not checked as a default and could be checked by the author (that sounds posh) of a post and thus ensure him/her of getting a notification on a new post in the thread!
