The topic pretty much states everything. I would like to make a flash game even though it is pretty complicated. I just wanted to know what programs are best. I know adobe has some good ones but I'm looking for a specific title.
well if you want to make a good one, expect to shell out a few hundred bucks. otherwise there are quite a few simple free places where you can make simple games
you could always "torrent" the best, might be illegal, but if ur really low on money, you either pray, or you can just pretty much pirate it online using a torrent engine. or you can use a friends'
Can you name some that are expensive and some that are free?
The most common one is Adobe Flash, which costs around $700 if I recall correctly. I think you can get a 30 day free trial with it. I think the latest one is CS5, I'm not sure.
A good free program for making flash games is Stencyl. It's not as good as Adobe Flash, but you can make some nice simple games with it.
