Hm. Well this is unexpected. I've trounced Gears of War, giggled at Saw, openly sacrificed small animals for my Satanic holidays, and yet I never thought it would come to this. Ah well. Well, it began a couple of days ago, a friend told me to watch it, so I did, and now I'm hooked on Ponies.
But this goes beyond simply enough "The manliest thing to do is be a girl," or "You aren't manly enough to experience the Friendship" or whatever, MLP:FiM is actually a high-quality piece.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a fantastic animated television program. The animation is beautiful to look at, the characters are incredibly well designed and written, the voice actors are dutifully dedicated to their roles, and the general tone of the show really puts me in a good mood.
Sure it's girly and made for kids, but it's on the same level as Pixar films, where there are the cutesy lessons for the kids and the interesting interactions between Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity.
I'm not going to force you to watch the show, but it really deserves a watch. And I'd actually like to discuss the show with someone other than my one Brony friend...
