I know their are people that are on here that are in the danger zone, and I think we should all talk about it. If these people come here, we should try to help them any way we can.
Already, people are dead because of tornadoes in Iowa. Not sure about casualties in other states. I think we should keep every one that is in danger in our thoughts and prayers.
hmmm... tornadoes in the usa have ben there for thousends of years. those people went living there and they knew about the tornadoes. those people can also just move out of the danger zone. it's their own will to stay there.
sure it's bad but what your gonna do? ask mother nature to stop? hahahaha.
it's like stoping earthquakes or stoping volcano eruptions. are you realy serious?
Let's not get carried away with the whole prayer thing.
Wasn't going to go any further with it. Just pointing out that, since he says he wants to help, that praying won't help.

Si. I think I read somewhere that around 90-95% of the world's tornadoes occur in Tornado alley, which is mid USA.
those people went living there and they knew about the tornadoes.
It's common enough that when the sirens go off no one thinks much of it, we just turn on the news, look outside, open the windows to listen for it, and get all pets into the basement just in case. More annoying than anything else.
What i dont understand is that when there is an earthquake/tsunami/natural disaster in any country, America sends millions of dollars in relief help to them, but not one country is helping the U.S. with the tornado relief...

I heard that Japan was one of the biggest sources of aid when hurricane Katrina hit new orleans. They donated millions

It used to be that way where I live, because the tornado sirens would go off if there was a warning anywhere in the county or adjacent counties, sometimes just for a tornado watch. Now it's narrowed to 10mi from the city limits, so if it goes off it means get underground immediately.

Typical American ignorance. That's all it really is. Other countries help us with disaster relief when we have disasters.
We like to gloat about our "good deeds" and "interventions around the world" but we never mention what anyone else does.

I think it's even worse than that for us. The other day the sirens went off and the tornado was like 60 miles away from where we were, and moving the opposite direction.

1st it's well known to happen there every single year. 2nd tornado's do not do enoufg damage for other country's to give money. some insurance company can easly pay for it. 3rd. when a earthquake happens the usa usualy already sends help befor the country in question is asking for the help. it are only the poor countrys that needs help. example: japan didn't need money. they have enoufg money. what they needed was tools. and they didn't ask usa that either. they asked china for the tools because it is closer by and so faster at the places where it was needed. the only thing japan asked from the usa was the special cooling water for the reactors. all the rest, usa gave it on their own. and japan wasn't realy in the situation to deny the help.
anyway i can asure you that when the andreas fault opens again that you will get help
Over 100 tornadoes are suspected to have hit in the last day or two. That usually dosen't happen.
well bad tonado year then. beter luck next year.
if it keeps going on for several years then i suggest to move away
lol here in San Diego all we get is sun and rain... and occasionally hail. But yea, we don't get tornadoes at all.l And we rarely get thunderstorms, but there have been a few :O
