okay on the walkthrough it there are a TON of achievements where you need pastries, but all I can shoot out are hamsters, so how do i shoot out pastries?

Correct, but if you hold space too long, you will die and shoot a bunch of mini pastries.

Not quite sure, but aren't you required to do said process in order to get all of the achievements? Just needed clarification.

yep, all 3 said processes yield achievements as far as I remember, dying from getting clogged up with a colossal pastry included
