Today is the memorial day in Israel. in Israel, ther are ceremonies all around Israel in the Schools and in Cemetery and Monuments. ,and the main one in 'ar azeytim' {the mountaine of olives in jerusalem} - the Cemetery of the head and heros of Israel. all the TV channles are closed or showing shows about the life of fallens or about battles, and ther are only sad songs in the radio.
how do you dedicated your "memorial" day {if have, i dont know}?
PS my parents lived in Usa a long perios, some years, and they told me that in Usa ther are sighns that say "happy memorial day" and ther are memorial day sales. is that true? and if do, do you think its ok?
At nightfall of memorial day in Israel, the celebration of independence day falls upon us; celebrating, firewoks, and lots of barbecues to celebrate the fact that this is the sixty-fourth anniversary of Israel becoming its own State, (ITS TONITE!!!)
