Many of you hate them... Im an emo girl...Yes =/. Why you hate them? (If you do) What do you think of them? Etc. I really, sometimes, think about suicide, and im not joking. But i cant say the reasons on here,though they are obvious.
Honestly if you don't like yourself thats your decision but it's generally a poor one because your not respecting yourself so nobody will respect you all that much.
People use emo to describe to many different things. Emo is short for Emotional, so anything that evokes huge emotional reactions can be described as emo. People call metal music emo because alo of times metal is emo ( to me it is). And when i say it is emo, i mean the lyrics are very emotional. I <3 my metal music, and it brings out lots of emotions in me. Now, emo seems to be used as a word to describe anything from someone who is depressed to a goth.

They were abused or whatnot. They have a reason for that. But Emos, no. If someone becomes Emo, and they tell me it's because of their dad, I'll laugh at them. Boalx: I'm sorry to inform you but your friend is seriously misguided.
I agree with you Strop. In addition,Boalx's friend apparently only knows the kind of 'Emo' that are Emo because of the clothes,makeup,etc. Theres also the other side,the Emo(...tional) people that had a strong impact in their life,for example a guy/girl that he knows died in an accident. It is hard to get over something like that but it isnt impossible. I already did (but it was other kind of event) but many people still cant.
