Hi, I got a little question. Sometimes when I look at a profile page(not mine), there is this little garbage can. It says delete, but it's a bit weird that it appears in posts that are not mine or on my profile page. I didn't try clicking it. It would be a bit rude to delete others posts (if it works). After a while it disappears (sometimes). It could give problems if everyone has this and they could just delete each others posts... Is this a known phenomenon?
I find if you go into all comments then delete it works.
This only works if you go to your own comments, not someone else's, since, realistically, unless you are a moderator or administrator, you are only allowed and able to delete comments made on your profile.
The thing with the can showing up is, as already mentioned, a glitch that has been going on for a while. You can click it, but it won't do anything, otherwise it would most likely have been repaired by now. As such:

I tried that once and it didn't work, perhaps the person whom you allegedly deleted comments didn't work, and the user deleted his/her own posts and made it look like you did it, so it was a coincidence? Could be, but if it truly is a bug, I would report the problem to an admin to fix it, otherwise some 'complications' could arise.
is not a problem. This is most likely fixed in AGv3, but will not be looked at as is, as it is not a serious problem (and the developers will only change really serious issues on AGv2 as it currently is).
